This course introduces statistical data analysis using LibreOffice Calc, focusing on data handling, spreadsheet functions, descriptive statistics, and data summarization tools such as pivot tables. Students learn to analyse datasets, apply lookup functions, and present insights through tables and basic graphs for informed decision-making

Applied Statistical Analysis: Ethical Data Collection, Interpretation and Decision Making in Society

Students will critically assess ethical implications in statistical analysis,
communicate findings responsibly and synthesise information to make ethical
decisions based on statistical outcomes. They will assess the reliability of statistical
inferences in societal scenarios considering both the statistical significance and
ethical implications of their findings.
