This course provides a strong foundation in Physics and introduces students to the methodology of physics. It covers the nature and applications of physics, units and measurements, vector operations, Newtonian mechanics and its modern extensions. The course also introduces basic electronics, including semiconductor devices, diodes, Zener diodes and rectifier circuits. Hands-on laboratory sessions develop essential experimental, measurement, error-analysis and practical skills in Physics
